We’ve begun to add the Java Grill hidden recipes to the website. It was a simple decision to start adding smoothies to the website as they are simple to make and so delicious. All thats needed is a blender, a glass and some ingredients.
The first few posts are as follows the Aloha, Banana Twist and Berry Monster. Three more recent posts have been added The Maui Dive, Crusher and the Blue Hawaii. Much more to come through-out 2008, including our wraps. We’d love to hear your comments about your favorite smoothies and results with our recipes.
Planned later this year is a redesign to the website and more hidden recipes. We would also love to have user posted recipes. Whether you’d like to post them yourself or pass them along to us to post. Check back soon!

After 12 years of serving customers in Novato, California the Java Grill closed it’s doors on September 29th, 2007. Thank you for your patronage.
As an added thanks, we’d like to publish the recipes for our wraps and smoothies. You will be able to access these as soon as they are available. Please check back for details and let us know if their are specific recipe’s that you are interested in. You can refer to the wraps or smoothies pages and leave a comment and or contact us directly.
We’ve enjoyed serving the community for that time and hope to continue serving you in a new way.

This is our first article on the Java Grill website. Our restaurant includes wraps, burgers, sandwiches and smoothies. We are happy to serve you at our Novato location.

The Java Grill has been open for nearly 12 years, serving the residents of Novato and beyond. Please have a look at our menu.
Here are a few notes about our food:
- Vegetables are never cooked in advance.
- Meat is never cooked in advance and left to dry in a steam table.
- All food is prepared fresh to order.
- We use only Canola, Olive, or Vegetable oil, and always the smallest amount possible.
- For our customers who are on a Fat Free diet we have oil free rice and beans and can cook vegetables without using oil.
- Only real fruit and fruit juices are used in our smoothies.
